What Makes an Individual Powerful?

What makes an individual powerful? Power makes an individual powerful. Macbeth, a perfect example. The witches foretold him of his prophecy to be king, and he went crazy with this thought and desire implanted in his head. How did Macbeth achieve the position of king and gain a tremendous amount of power? He killed every person standing in his way, including my family. Besides the ability to make difficult choices, like Macbeth did when deciding to kill in order to gain power, you need confidence. A person with confidence can sometimes be associated with trust. Gaining trust and then betrayal is a common way to gain power. Just as how Macbeth gained the trust of Duncan and then cut his throat. From my experiences with the tyrant Macbeth gaining power is achieved through confidence, trust, and the ability to make difficult choices.
